Who ever really believed that J.K. Rowling had actually killed Dumbledore? Not me. Nor did over half of the Harry Potter loving population. No, we all knew that Dumbledore was just hiding away waiting for the opportune moment to "leap out" at us.
Unfortunately, that moment wasn't in one of J.K. Rowling's 2364 page books. However, in a recent interview by The Spoof, Rowling said,"Oh, I never wanted the old prat to die! I mean, with such a muggle-hating past, and trusting, grandfatherly characteristics, who could get rid of the sweetheart? I actually only pretended he would die to get some publicity! I was hoping that our many readers would pick up on this intentional death, and as expected many of our European and Asian readers did. Unfortunately...our numerous American Harry Potter readers fell just a bit short. But I understand this. Truly I do. I mean, we had to change the name of the book from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone to Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone."
But then, if Rowling has kept Dumbledore under wraps for so long, when will he appear? For now, avid Harry Potter fans can only speculate.
I for one, believe he will make his great entrance in Out Magazine.
