Ted Jones, the actor who portrays Ron Paul

After seeing Ron Paul mentioned often on the web, I decided to research the candidate by checking more reliable sources. First I watched the network news, starting with CBS, then NBC, and ABC too.

While there were several references to the presidential campaign, Ron Paul was not mentioned. Results from cable news was similar.

I then tried prominent newspapers like the NY Times & Wall Street Journal, for a week or so. Still nothing. USA Today also had no information.

I then checked top news magazines such as Time and Newsweek, plus the Economist - maybe the Brits would have a fresh perspective. But there was still nothing.

I conclude that Ron Paul must be a fictional character, created by YouTube and other websites.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
