According to rumour, Patrick Agyemang is set to appear in the 2011 series of 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

The QPR star striker, who has appeared in the majority of Premiership games played so far this season, was controversially left out of Neil Warnock's 25-man squad announced this week, but the reasons why have now become clear.

"I rate Pat tremendously, he's a terrific lad." Said Warnock.

"I wanted him to spearhead my attack this season, that's why he never started a game for me last season, I wanted him fresh and ready. But once Bruce Forsyth phoned me up to enquire about his availability, it was only fair I put the offer to Pat, who, unfortunately for me, decided it was something he wanted to pursue.

Because of strict recordings every weekend, not to mention the intense training involved appearing on the show, there was no way he could compete whilst still playing for QPR."

Agyemang, nicknamed 'Dave' by his adoring public, is naturally two-footed - he can't shoot with either - revealed his joy of appearing on the show; "I love the show and grew up watching Brucey on the box. I love his catchphrases, especially when he goes, 'Alwight at the back? Alwight at the front'. Cracks me up everytime."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
