After the ritual humiliation Man Utd suffered at the hands of Barcelona in the Champions League final, Sir Alex Ferguson is changing career at the ripe old age of 69.
Having seen his beloved side, carefully crafted through the years, being dismantled by a cook-a-hoop side coached by a rookie manager in front of an estimated TV audience of over 400 million, Fergie is fronting a new reality show along with Cheryl Cole.
Cole, who has just returned from the US after being booted out as a judge on American X Factor after only 2 weeks, is seen as the perfect foil for Fergie in a new project called "I'm A Celebwity, Get Me Out Of Here, Divint Ya Knaa".
Sir Alex will not only co present the show but will also use some of his Wembley experiences as themes for the programme.
Competitors will face the daunting tasks of chasing shadows and struggling uphill for 90 minutes ,while Cole's personal input is expected to be reflected in "Talking To A Nationwide Audience In A Foreign Tongue" and "Scrapping With A Dance Guru Off Camera".
