Cosmetic surgeons in Hollywood are facing a bleak future with the passing of screen icon Elizabeth Taylor.
More than 10 of the top nip and tuck surgeons in Tinseltown are having to make staff redundant as they prepare for a massive drop in business in the wake of Taylor's passing.
Morty Laurensen, Chairman of the Los Angeles and Beverley Hills Plastic Surgery, made the shock announcement yesterday :
"Cosmetic surgeons all over town are bracing themselves for a long, barren period. The credit crunch has hit us hard and things are not likely too improve over the coming years.
I dread to think what might happen to our industry when the likes of Zsa Zsa Gabor and Joan Collins finally peg out".
