Actor Taylor Lautner has offered an official apology to Phil Tippett for ruining a scene in one of the Twilight movies.
"I got bored awaiting this big scene in Eclipse that Phil Tippett was working very hard to get just right. He is a perfectionist as everyone who has worked with him will tell you", stated Lautner. "I even offered to pay for the extra shooting but he told me to forget it."
Meanwhile Tippett, a two-time Oscar winner for "Return of the Jedi" and "Jurassic Park" stated that he had already forgotten the two mishaps.
"It happens all the time. The wrong background someone left from the previous scene, the missed line, it's all part of my job."
The scene that Lautner was describing was the great one in which Lautner (Jacob), in his role as a werewolf comes up to Bella. During the howling of his pack of wolves, Lautner suddenly launches a Tarzan yell.
"I practiced that as a kid after seeing all those great old action movies and I can do a pretty good job. So everyone broke up laughing."
However, in New Moon, Lautner stated that he alone wasn't to blame.
"I don't know which 'werewolf' it was but one of the guys farted just as we landed in our jumps. I completely lost it. But you couldn't hear it on the replay. So guess who caught it again?"
