Exciting News just in from the showbiz world and confirmation that David Beckham will play himself in the forthcoming adaptation of his life, 'The Life And Times Of David Beckham.
'The three part drama will be screened in the Autumn and spans the whole of his life, from the early days right through to the present day as all good life stories should. Elton John has been drafted in to play David's dad, and his mother is played by Joan Collins who, quite rightly was delighted to be involved.
'David's a beautiful man, if he was a bit younger I'd have a nibble myself, so I was thrilled to be asked to play his Mum.'
In another coup, Victoria will mirror real life and play the stars wife, and she said, 'It keeps things simple, just an extension of our normal day really. Plus, if we play each other, the chemistry should be really good, and that's great for viewing figures.'
It's not yet known who will play Rebecca Loos but first time director Gary Neville was adamant that Rebecca herself should be in the frame, 'it keeps things authentic,' he added.
