LONDON - The king of rock and roll's only offspring, Lisa Marie Presley has sold her Roy Rogers ranch style home in Los Angeles, California for $5 million [£3.18 U.K] and moved to London, England.
Elvis Presley's daughter landed at London's Heathrow Airport with her 18-month-old twin daughters Maggie May and May Maggie in tow.
Presley's house husband Michael Lockwood also accompanied his wife and daughters and he will be the male nanny while Lisa Marie works on her latest album.
Lisa Marie said that she will be recording an album titled, My Favorite English Songs By The British Invasion Bands.
The 42-year-old Presley said that Elton John, Boy George, and George Michael will all be providing the gay backup vocals on most of the songs.
Lisa Marie has purchased an £8 million [#13 million U.S.] mansion in Turnbridge Wells, Clark Kent. The estate sits on 90 acres and includes 11 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a rugby field, 3 fox hunting dogs, and a special room which is used solely to make crumpets.
The mansion which once belonged to Mick Jagger was once known as I Can't Get No Satisfaction Estates. Jagger reportedly sold the mansion to Ringo Starr who renamed it The Yellow Submarine Mansion, and then Starr sold it to Amy Winehouse who renamed it Me Blimey Bloomim Bloody Fookin House I Say.
Lisa Marie, who has gained about 100 pounds in the past ten months, told a reporter for the BBC that she plans on changing the name to The Gloved One Acres Villa in honor of her ex-husband Michael Jackson.
SIDENOTE: Lisa Marie was asked by Simon Cowell why she would move from Tinsel Town (Hollywood) to London. She grinned and said that she hates the sunshiny weather in L.A. and said that she knows she'll love London's unique weather.
