Skoob Entertainment News can almost exclusively reveal that this weekend's X-Factor will feature the surviving wannabes performing their 'guilty pleasure' songs on the live show.
Sources say that the controversial Katie Waissel will be performing Sir Elton John's 'The Bitch Is Back' and that Wagner Carrilho, the elderly pony-tailed Brazilian born lothario will be performing either Frankie Goes To Hollywood's 1984 hit 'Relax' or the Sex Pistols 'Pretty Vacant.'
Cher Lloyd was initially thought to be considering Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You' but insiders say she eventually settled for Bros's 'When Will I Be Famous?'
It also seems fairly certain that Mary Byrne will be belting out the Weather Girls hit 'It's Raining Men!' with her usual gusto, and that Matt Cardle will be giving us his rendition of the Temptations classic 'My Girl.'
Rebecca Ferguson, the dark horse to win the contest looks set to go all retro again with her version of Ella Fitzgerald's jazz classic 'I'll Take Manhattan'
It is not abundantly clear at this point what the others will be doing, and quite frankly, nobody seems to care one way or the other.
Music afficionado and opera buff, Colonel Juan - himself a contributor to satirical website theSpoof.com - said:
"Oh crikey! This is terrible news! Looks like I'll have to lock myself in the toilet again this Saturday evening."
More as we get it.
