Khagendra Thapa Magar is soon to be named the smallest man in the world, measuring in at only 22 inches. He was in New York recently to meet with World Record executives about his impending title. ABC executives caught wind of Magar's presence and offered him a spot on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars, and he accepted.
However, no one obviously thought out the logistics of just what dancer they would pair with the 22-inch man. And then it hit them, Tina, the Dancing Ballerina, a doll just on the market in time for the holiday season. Tina walks, talks, and dances and is an unbelievable 22 inches tall. Said one executive, "it's as if Tina was made specifically for Khagendra."
Other contestants weren't sure they liked the idea of competing against a tiny little man with a doll as his partner, but when told the alternative was to bring Kate Gosselin back, they all jumped quickly behind the idea.
There has been widespread support for Khagendra and Tina among the other dancers, with the exception of David Hasselhoff. Although he has been told several times that the pair, in fact, are real, or at least Khagendra is real, he refuses to believe it and has tried several times to "catch" Khagendra in order to get the little guy's pot 'o gold.
