Nina Dobrev has told reporters this morning that singer/actor Miley Cyrus would not be welcome on 'The Vampire Diaries' television program!
"I have nothing personal against Miley Cyrus but this is a serious show. We work hard to keep it the best drama on television and we don't need a tail twisting, pole dancer to turn it into a farce", stated Dobrev.
Another actor on the CW hit series, Paul Wesley, said that he agreed.
"They must have thought it would bring our ratings up to have her as a regular on the show, but 'The Vampire Diaries' is pulling it's own weight. Hiring Miley Cyrus would make it appear that we were jumping the shark."
Sara Canning, also from the series stated "As soon as an audience sees her, they'll think, "Hannah Montana" and will no longer think our show is serious."
All three showed no personal animosity toward Cyrus. They simply think that they can handle everything on their own.
"We want to keep the show scary, not Camp Bozo", stated Dobrev.
