Kristen Stewart who went to India and Bollywood to make a different type of movie than the Twilight role of Isabella, has landed the leading lady role in the remake of "Spellbound", the old romantic thriller, according to a Source we have there.
Although this version will be a little different in setting, it will closely follow the original film in the characters and how they feel about each other.
So, is Dev Patel in the movie, many will want to know?
We simply don't know at this time. They do want to make a movie together but Patel was already scheduled for two and had signed contracts for each.
When he was asked the question yesterday, he seemed to hesitate answering but finally stated: "Kristen and I will do the films we are committed to do. It's not like we don't have a life apart from doing movies. We do have a life and the acting is our 'work', not our life."
So we assume that he will not appear in "Spellbound", if that story is even true. Stewart has not told us directly that she will be in the updated version of the Alfred Hitchcock movie. It would be just what she is looking for, if she wants to try a different type role.
Whoever does the movie will probably not be given a good review when comparing it with the original.
However, we probably won't be seeing Alfred Hitchcock in the background in some scene during the movie.
