Sir Paul McCartney, on his first appearance since the one at the White House with the Obamas where he sung the song "Michelle" to the First Lady, was asked if he thought Lady Gaga was the most important singer today.
"What's a Lady Gaga?"
"One of today's top recording artists", he was told. "As to 'What', she is, that's still being debated."
"Do you mean Adam Lambert? Yes, I've seen Adam on the telly. Good showman, but didn't care much for the music."
Meanwhile, Ringo Starr had came up, elbowing his way in.
"I know Lady Gaga! That was one of OUR songs, "Lady Gaga, children at your feet, wonder how you manage to make ends meet? dah dah dah and like that!"
"That was Lady Madonna, Ringo."
"Oh. I know who she is also. That 50-year-old with her legs spread out like a frog in a photo I saw."
"I don't think Ringo knows Lady Gaga, either! Why not admit it. You're 70-year's old."
"And I intend to stay that way. You're wrong as usual Paul. It was 'Lady Gaga' we sang about. Why, I've known her since she was Lady Googoo! Then she was a meter maid before hitting the big time."
