Defense lawyers are opposing the court prosecutors request that Naomi Campbell testify under oath in the war crimes trial against former President of Liberia, Charles Taylor.
The prosecutors hope Campbell can help show evidence by displaying the blood diamonds she had received as a gift from Taylor.
"This is nothing but a publicity stunt", stated defense lawyers, Bossie "The Pope" Woodcock and Jake "Bloodbath" Vessetti. "They want people to notice. To keep it on the front pages."
Woodcock also pointed out that they were almost a year and a half into the trial and asked why it would be brought up at this point?
"This don't have nothing to do with what the man here did in Siberia.....Liberia."
The judge hasn't decided yet, possibly waiting to see if Naomi Campbell is "well enough" to testify.
