According to the latest reports, Cheryl Cole has been spending her nights with "friend", dancer Derek Hough at the home she once shared with her ex, Ashley.
"Derek is a great friend and a great, great, great dancer", Cole reportedly told her neighbor after she saw them coming home Friday night. "Well, we need to get dancing. It's just work, work, work these days..uh, nights!"
After being asked by reporters Saturday, Cole restated that they were just good friends.
So Cheryl is getting to be quite a "dancer" herself when trying to be pinned down, if you'll excuse the expression. After all, she and her husband had divorced only days before the 25-year-old dancer arrived.
But, to quote the Eagles, "Late at night a big old house gets lonely."
The pair have become increasingly close after they performed a raunchy dance routine for the video clip for her single Parachute.
Apparently these nightly visits are a natural follow-up, as the two want to get the dance routine perfected before her next tour.
