Spongebob comes to life.

The silly cartoon series Spongebob is coming of age with real actors and a real movie plot. This time Spongebob and Patrick aren't goofy bubble chasers they are spies for Bikini Bottom Intelligence (BBI). The movie has an all-star cast; the title roll is played by Matt Damon, Owen Wilson is Patrick Star, Rowan Atkinson is Squidward, Bill Murray is Eugene Krabs, Ellen Degeneres is Sandy Cheeks, and the villain is Danny DeVitto. Will Farrell and Ben Stiller do cameos.

The movie begins with Spongebob being outcast and on the run because of an old spy rivalry at BBI. DeVitto, as Clamface, is the director of BBI and nemesis of Spongebob. Patrick is forced to assist in capturing Spongebob who has escaped with a circus troupe of wandering tunas. Murray, DeGeneris, and Atkinson rev up the tension with hilarious action at the Krabby Patty Restaurant.

Meanwhile the Shellfish Alliance for the Destruction of Bikini Bottom (SADBB) has recruited Clamface. Can Spongebob save himself and Bikini Bottom from total ruin? This ain't no cartoon, it is a comic thriller that keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat.

The movie is not old style animation, it is the latest technology similar to that used in 'Avatar'. Damon and co-star Wilson, are equipped with dozens of electrodes to capture their motions as they portray the brave espionage duo. The visual effects are phenomenal and much of it was filmed in a virtual undersea studio. The movie is a great escape from the norm and will certainly be a box office smash.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
