Andrew Cowles, the widower of Stephen Gately, has spoken of his delight that his late husband's new book 'The Tree of Seasons' has made the best-sellers list in its first week of release.
Andrew says the news was a little damped by the news friend and BoyZone singer Ronan Keating announced the split from his wife, "I just didn't see that one coming". He did get a text from Keating, when the best selling book charts came out, stating he couldn't make it to the celebrations after announcing the termination of his relationship.
Keating, with tears in eyes, played to packed gigs over the weekend, (May 22/23,)obviously still in unhappy land.
Andrew says despite the sad news of Ronan's split he's loving the attention the book release has created.
He says his former late partner book is receiving great reviews and sales and says it's great to see it in real book shops, "Stephen would have been so happy."
The book features a foreword from Sir Elton John and David Furnish, and was completed by Stephen's close friends and family using the detailed notes he left about how he wanted his children's fantasy novel to end.
As for Ronan, well tomorrow may never come with his former wife who he obviously didn't take enough time to lay there and watch her sleeping.
