The world of comedy is today in mourning after the tragic news that the king and queen of giggles, Lenny Henry and Dawn French, are set to split after 25 years of marriage.
D-Len, Denny, Lawn or however you knew them announced last night that they were going their separate ways but plan to remain good friends, just like Jordan and Pete.
There had been much speculation over the years about the solidity of Dawn and Lenny's marriage. In 1999 Lenny was arrested and sectioned when, high on Night Nurse, he paraded naked around Debenhams in Winchester making his penis quote poetry to bemused onlookers.
