Stunt man and Magician David Blaine's mother-in-law has disappeared and police are searching everywhere Blaine has been over the past four days.
Actually he was in a block of ice inside the downstairs lobby of ABC's Good Morning America, but he was still under suspicion until yesterday.
"We thought sure he had the old bag hid somewhere...am I on the air? Oh..., yes, Blaine is the perp of choice", stated NYC policeman, Howard Hotchkiss. "But we can't understand how he could have done it."
According to Chief Officer Reynolds, they had called in psychics, dogs, psychic dogs, impossible crime mystery writers and none had been any help.
Then early this morning they chiseled Blaine out of the big ice cube and began wrapping him up in blankets.
"Where's your mother-in-law, Blaine?", asked the chief. "We know you have tricked us, but we haven't found her, her remains, or even how you could have done it."
That's when there was a big "SURPRISE!" from Police Officer Hotchkiss grabbing everyone's attention by suddenly pulling off his outfit revealing that HE was actually........well, Police Office Hotchkiss, in his underwear.
"Hotchkiss put your clothes on! Downtown just called and Blaine's mother-in-law is in Paris shopping."
