As David Blaine began his latest stunt, the Guinness World Records company have revealed that no matter how long he hangs it will not be a world record.
Spokesman Cedric Bigglesworth said "Mr Blaine has forgotten that hanging upside down is nothing new. Australians have been doing this for over 200 years and Aboriginals for even longer."
The official Australian stereotype person Crocodile Mick Dundee said "Strewth mate, I was just throwing some shrimps on the barbie when I heard about Blaine. He's a flaming gullar, he must have dunny paper in his head. I think I'll have to crack open some tinnies."
David Blaine was beside himself when he heard the news, which was actually a very neat trick.
