Well stand back all you rockers, rhythm and blues and country fans because here comes Speed Bluegrass Metal, a lively mixture of Alison Krause meets Korn meets Def Leppard!

Developed during the International Bluegrass festival in Pine, Idaho last Summer, the new genre (SBGM for short) has taken off like a rocket in venues from The Oratorium in San Francisco to Der
Beaten Mit Der Clubben (formerly The Beat Club) in Oof, Germany.

The music is played to an incredibly fast beat on Dobro guitars using waa-waa pedals and double the amp amperage. An electric autoharp can be heard wailing away in the background during soaring solos.

MP3s of the songs: "Bullet Train to my Old Kentucky Home" and "When Real Lightning Got Lightning Hopkins" can't be downloaded from your local record shop because they haven't paid their phone bill.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
