HD TV Could Spell The End For Televised Sex.

Sex symbol stars of TV and movies from Hollywood to Bollywood, and Elstree to Ealing staged a mass protest in Tokyo today over what they consider to be the evils of HD TV.

It seems that HD TV highlights flaws such as zits, scars, hairiness, and bloodshot eyes. Sex symbols, both male and female from all over the world are up in arms because even the most skilful make-up artist can no longer disguise the flaws.

One British soap actress, who looks drop dead gorgeous in the lad mags and newspapers complained:

"HD telly will ruin me. Everybody thought I was really beautiful until the advent of HD - now you can see every zit, every blackhead. It's a career disaster."

Male TV personalities have by no means been immune to the HD effect. One told us:

"I used to have hairy hands. When I saw meself on HD I looked like a friggin' gorilla. My only option is to wax, and that can never be right. People get the wrong idea when they see me going into the waxing salon. They think something perverted is going on."

The Adult movie industry has been hit hardest of all. As a spokesperson explained:

"When the cameras are focused solely on parts of the body which have a tendency toward perspiration, in close up, a lot of unpleasant stuff shows up in HD. Adult movies are not the kind of thing to watch when you're having supper."

More as we get it.
