The actual shooting hasn't taken place yet, bullets or film, but the families of the Mexican prisoners are already protesting that Mel Gibson has asked Mexican officials to kindly remove the rascals elsewhere so he can shoot his new movie, "How I Spent My Summer Vacation" in the old prison.
The Actor/Director who wants the Ignacio Allende prison is trying to help authorities to find a place for the men but thus far, the only place available is many miles away.
One of Mel's representatives has now asked if the men can be housed in a nearby stadium with a double guard around the perimeter outside the barbed wire and electric fence. There could be tents inside for the prisoners.
"I don't see what the holdup is", stated Manfred Holls. "They're just a bunch of druggies and robbers. We have an important movie to make here."
Meanwhile, Gibson is putting the finishing touches on some scenes and is anxious to start.
"I can remember when you paid the right officials and the prisoners would be out somewhere by the next day. It's getting so reality is not only all over TV but everywhere you look."
"Of course, that was only the beer talking", stated Holls. "With the harder stuff, it is always the Jews."
