Joe Johnston has said that he is accepting an offer to direct the fourth Jurassic Park movie because it has "a great story".
The filmmaker, who steered the third franchise instalment, told Ain't It Cool News that the Jurassic Park 4 script takes the series into new territory and sets up a new trilogy.
"There is a great story for the fourth one that I would be interested in getting involved with and it's nothing like the first three." he imagined.
Discussing the setting for the fourth film, Johnston insisted that it would be pointless to bring the action back to the island: "Why would anybody go back to that island? It has been milked to death already. None of the cast will be returning either." promised the confused Director.
"In fact, the reboot even goes so far as to not include dinosaurs" he screamed whilst swinging from the light fittings. "To get that fresh feel the producers have taken out the words Jurassic Park so they don't even appear in the title." continued Johnston while foaming at the mouth.
Filming is due to start in Johnston's head once the teeny tiny pixies stop telling him to find a franchise that people are interested in.
