The ghost patch that the Grimes Twins had sewn into their underwear.

LONDON - Simon Cowell, one of Great Britain's richest gents, has finally admitted that he actually likes X-Factor contestants Jedward, aka the Grimes Twins, John and Edward.

The Irish twins performed the theme from the Ghostbusters motion picture and were dressed in ghost fighting outfits that would bring a tear to Casper the friendly ghosts' eyes.

The lads performed in an elaborate number complete with ghost busting car, ghost busting lorry (truck), a sexy-looking marshmallow ghost, and two ghost busting beeachs (Trudy P. and Myrtle F.).

After their performance judge Cheryl Cole remarked that the last time she had seen that much glam, glitz, glitter, and swishing was last March at Elton John's 62th birthday party.

Dannii Minogue grinned and commented that for some reason she wanted to go out and buy some marshmallows. She laughed and said that she too had been at Sir Elton's birthday bash and it certainly reminded her of that except of course minus the feather boas, the sequined gowns, the lavender and pink flower arrangements and of course the dozen or so sashayers (?).

And Louis Walsh commented that the boys from Ireland had gone from being bad rubbish to being good rubbish, which he remarked is not a bad thing but a good thing.

SIDENOTE: A highly reliable source has said that one individual who loves the twins and has voted for them since the start is Amy Winehouse. When Miss Winehouse was asked to comment she looked up and said, "Ahhh, ummmm, pishhh, fooffff."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
