The Vagina Monologues, the long running Broadway play, will be renamed for September 28th in honor of the celebration of National Breast Appreciation Day. Production assistant Lisa Naugahyde said that "we feel that, just like our performances enlighten people to the needs of women, this holiday will do the same. As such, we knew that we needed to symbollically do something to support this."
"We originally considered calling our production Talking Teats. Then, some of us changed our minds and wanted to go with Nipple Chats or Torpedo Talks. We scrapped that in favor of The Boobie Dialogues (since it sounds more like our original title)."
For performances only on that night, the play will take on the new name and all actresses will go topless.
There is no truth to the rumor that Megan Fox will make a surprise cameo in the show on that date. One of the Olsen twins had originally agreed to perform, but backed out when she heard that the audience would be given free magnifying glasses to help turn her role into "a big deal."
