Chili Verde, New Mexico: The National Basketball Association (NBA) is filing a lawsuit against 'writer' Jalepenoman.
Jalepenoman is the creator and marketing mastermind behind the new fictitious holiday, National Breast Appreciation Day. The acronym for the fictitious, breast oriented holiday happens to be NBA, just like the basketball NBA.
You can understand the confusion.
The attorney/spokesperson for the NBA, Duncan Dribble, made the following statement at a press confrence earlier today:
"The NBA doesn't want to be associated with some made up holiday about breasts. We are the National Basketball Association. When men hear the acromyn 'NBA' they want to think about basketball. Nothing else.
"We hold the rights to the acronym NBA. The NBA will not be overshadowed by the NBA and become the 'other' NBA. Do I make myself clear," at which point several members of the press conference scratched their heads in bafflement.
Jalepenoman, or 'the Jman' as he's called by his friends, had this to say:
"'Made up holiday'? The hell you say! I'm in talks with candy companies, bra makers, topless bars and those people who make them 'tittie tastles' that all the strippers wear. We're gonna make this an honest to God Holiday. Just like Valentine's Day!"
