Bruce Forsyth may need to consider his position in the cult TV show, Strictly Come Dancing.
According to one of my sources, the legend that is Mr Forsyth was told that he would have to present the show from a wheelchair.
I was informed that given Bruce is 105, certain health and safety laws come into effect. Were anything to happen to him when not strapped into a wheelchair and wearing a safety helmet, the programme makers could be liable. Equally there are strict rules about working times for those over 65 years old, so an actor was going to have to read his (god awful) jokes for him. Finally, if he were to move a muscle and then strain it we understand that we could have been sued, so he is urged to stay perfectly still.
Dale Winton is a possible replacement for the aging star.
"I'll do it! Unacceptable constraints? Will I be on prime time TV? Well then, strap me into that wheelchair, lip synch my script and keep me perfectly still, at least I'll be back baby!"
