Ditsy singer Amy Winehouse caused a huge delay at New York's Kennedy Airport this morning as she got on a plane, must have dozed before takeoff and got up and left her seat and exited as others got on.
Seeing what had happened, a stewardess quickly told authorities and, suspecting someone had left a bomb aboard and gotten back off, the plane was delayed and the airport came to a halt until miss Winehouse was found and questioned.
Then, after an hour had passed and the airplane searched while everyone got off and back on, Winehouse had been found wandering around the plane exits looking for someone.
Apparently Amy's nap had seemed to be a long one and upon awakening, Winehouse had thought she had landed at Heathrow in England and was walking around the airport looking for her boyfriend who was supposed to be waiting for her to arrive.
When asked if JFK Airport looked like Heathrow, she stated that they all looked alike to her.
Then, upon being told that her ticket could still be good for the next flight, she turned it down. Apparently she had found a new boyfriend at JFK while looking around.
"I think I'll wait a couple weeks", the singer reportedly told security guards.
