70's Glam rock outfit The Bay City Rollers have had to cancel rehearsals for a proposed upcoming reunion gig at the Sheffield Arena, after promoters told them that it was a shit idea.

The Scottish band, who broke America with their 'stylish' tartan costumes and silly songs such as 'Shang-a-lang", were said to be disappointed because they have been doing 'fuck all' since their hey-day three decades ago.

Apparently, fans of the group couldn't be arsed paying to see the cheesy bastards play - despite super-low 1970's era ticket prices of 20p.

Many former 'fans' have tried to put the dreadful past behind them and get on with their lives. Few, if any, want to be reminded of the God-awful fashion and crap music.

The Krankies will now take on their Sheffield Arena dates with support from Emu, of Rod Hull fame. The puppet 'Emu' has enjoyed massive solo success following the death of Hull, but some critics have said that he lacks movement and poise.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
