Film critics have been raving about the brilliant casting of Keanu Reeves as the alien in human flesh in the remake of the Science Fiction classic The Day the Earth Stood Still. Oddly this may be the first good review Reeves has received since he played a heavily drugged frozen faced druggie in Bill and Ted.
Hollywood critic, Wholly Wood believes that the secret to the revival of Keanu's career has been discovered: " If only directors can find deadpan facial roles for KR, he can Clatu his way back into stardom!"
Remakes of the Matrix seem unlikely though there is a rumour that a romantic comedy , Once Upon a Matrix is in development. A more promising opening for Reeves is the voice of HAL in 2010 Space Odyssey. KR's agent is pitching his client for the faceless part by arguing that the only thing better than a frozen faced Keanu is a disembodied one!
