There was drama in Essex this morning when a visitor to the tomb of the late, great former reality TV star Jade Goody found that the her grave was open and her body no longer inside her coffin.
Twelve fans of Jade, who have become known as her disciples, have been tending the grave site every morning since her burial, in the hope that she might 'rise from the dead' and assume her rightful place in the Big Brother house.
This morning though, at about 5.30am, one of the twelve, Sally Slapper, from Colchester, noticed a huge mound of earth where Jade's carcass had formerly lay, and ran screaming from the site.
She later told another of the devotees, also known as the Goody Samaritans:
"Jade's been evicted!"
Police from the local nick conducted a cursory investigation and concluded, from token bones strewn about the area, that a prank had been carried out, and that Goody was still dead, and would probably remain so for the foreseeable future.
