Lenny Kravitz is a singer/songwriter who has had many hits over the years, which are notable for their unique guitar playing and imbecilic lyrics. In fact because of his guitar style and black skin, he has often been compared to Jimi Hendrix. But recently he won an award for a song that he wrote called "Fly away".

The song lyrics were entered into a poetry competition for children under 9, and judges were unaware that Mr Kravitz, now aged 45, would be ineligible. One thing which helped him to win was that the words appeared so convincingly written by a 9 year old.

The song begins:

"I wish that I could fly
Into the sky
So very high
Just like a dragonfly
I'd fly above the trees
Over the seas
In all degrees
To anywhere I please"

It is not known whether Mr Kravitz was aware of the entry criteria when he sent his song in, but judges have promised to review the competition winners.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
