Barney the Purple Dinosaur had liposuction last month in an attempt to change the shows format.
His therapist said "Barney is suffering from Pre-Dino depression. He misses his family. Since there aren't any more dinosaurs Barney has had to adapt to a different lifestyle."
"His current state of mind has caused him to make irrational decisions."
Producers are forced to make several changes in other to retain the stars services which include changing the shows name to "Big Barns Show".
Also children will be replaced by scantily clad attractive women.
No date has been set for the new format.
