MTV's "Beavis and Butthead" are to be screened this summer in a new film - but this time, they've grown up!
The film is said to be titled: "Beavis and Butthead's Adventures in Job World"
The plot of the film is still a little sketchy, but generally sees the two not having much fun, getting depressed about work and not having any time to watch TV at all.
Beavis is said to get a job as a Clerk in a law office, whilst Butthead joins the family business on the Fish Farm.
Mike Judge told us:
"The film is about two kids growing up and not having any fun anymore. Basically, the MTV generation that existed 5 years ago have no chance of happiness at all, certainly in America."
"Happiness cannot be garnered from the television like it used to - there is no comedy, no fun, no happiness. Or if there is, it's a comedy series that's in its 12th season, or something."
Life in general sucks, according to the world of B & B. But in the film, the characters are shielded from this:
"Yeah, we wanted to make the film fairly realistic. They don't know that life sucks because they're too involved in it."
The film is set for release in 2005, because making cartoon films takes an extraordinarily long time.
