A Roman Catholic Nun has come up with an idea of showing Monks and Friars off in a kind of beauty contest. Sister Mary Theresa of the Poor Claires Convent in Skelmersdale has asked permission from her Mother Superior, Sister Agnes Ravioli to publish photos on her blogspot to show that the traditional image of old men with bald patches and brown habits has changed somewhat.
Sister Theresa is planning to publish the site called 'Holy Hunks' once her Mother Superior has obtained a blessing from none other than the Pope himself.
Clutching her rosary beads, the rather excited young nun told In Seine News;
"I'm really looking forward to this initiative because we have nothing to do after vespers. Hey this is the 21st century and we've got to keep up with the times; we've only just gone online this year! There is also a need to keep reaching out to the world around us. We sisters have feelings too and although there seems to be many more girls taking vows of chastity, it far outweighs the number of men taking Holy Orders."
When asked if there was any danger of lusting after these men, the Nun replied with a big smile "No, not at all, we're married to Jesus!"
