Being a consummate professional, he finished the scene before collapsing in agony.
On the day of shooting, Mr. Smith's sweet tooth made him go to Dunkin' Donuts and pig out on 12 Boston Cream doughnuts. This caused his normally toned stomach to sag, increasing pressure on the suit which then led to a strangulated testicle when he performed some acrobatic moves.
A spokesman for Dunkin' Donuts said that although doughnuts should be eaten in moderation, he was pleased that a high profile star such as Will Smith enjoyed the creamy, sensual taste and texture of their fine product. A celebratory doughnut in honour of the film Hancock called the "Cock-nut" has already been planned.
