After tracing his family tree, British actor Orlando Bloom has discovered that a relative dating back to the sixteenth century was actually a man hanged for piracy.
Bloom, 31, played blacksmith-turned-pirate captain in the 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' trilogy and always said he felt 'pirate-y'.
'I always felt as one when i was playing Will, even when I did muck up my lines. And that was not usually my fault. It was my co-stars'faults. But the swordsman hired to help with our routines said I was a natural, so maybe that was thanks to my ancestor.'
Will Bloom stay a Hollywood superstar or take to the seas?
