In a shock move, a writer has written a story containing the names of Cristiano Ronaldo, Vanessa Hudgens and Britney Spears in a callous attempt to boost his points total on satirical news website TheSpoof.com.
The shameless attempt was carried out today from a computer somewhere in England, and was not expected to be successful, although administrators at the site say that they are "powerless to stop such cynical behaviour from occurring".
The attempt has now been blocked, but not before the unnamed writer had amassed more than 3,000 points, sending him soaring in the rankings.
Administrators say that subjects like Britney Spears Vagina, and celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens and Cristiano Ronaldo have always been major 'points scorers', and this is probably why they were chosen for such an unashamedly desperate display of 'points craving'.
The writer, who is known to the Administrators, has been warned and disciplined, and has vowed "to do it again."
