After William Hung's CD, Inspiration, went platinum, American Idol judge Simon Cowell was fired from the show.
Fox Executives are blaming Cowell for the lackluster sales of CDs by previous American Idols Kelly Clarkson and Ruben Stodard, while William Hung has sold countless CDs, and may be nominated for a Grammy.
Idol judge Paul Abdul told reporters that she was impressed with Hung's ability and begged Cowell to invite Hung to Hollywood offcamera. "That's right," she said, "Off camera. The cameras were turned off, I told Simon he had alot of potential, and Simon kept saying no. That's the truth. Really. Please don't fire me. I can't sing, I can't judge, what am I going to do?"
Randy Jackson responded, "Dawg! Woof woof, Dawg!"
Hung is currently dating the Olsen twins.
