Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16-year-old pregnant sister of Britney Spears and star of Zoey 101, announced on her web site last week that being 16 and pregnant is "like totally awesome" and encouraged other young teens to become pregnant too.
"I just love being pregnant. It is soooo cool", the youthful diva wrote in her online diary. "I hope all the girls who watch the show will get pregnant like me!"
Shortly after this passage was posted online, pharmacies across the nation have noticed a 75% drop in orders for birth control pills and condoms among their under-18 customers. In response, many pharmacies have stopped selling Jamie Lynn Spears posters, mugs and other paraphernalia.
"Until she got pregnant we used to sell tons of Jamie Lynn stuff", said CVS pharmacist Ralph Waldo. "She's destroyed half of my business so I'm gonna try to destroy part of hers!"
"She's a tramp and a floozy. She will destroy America!", said Planned Parenthood spokesperson Eileen Dover. "We used to have a word for girls like her when I was growing up -- it's called WHORE!!!"
When questioned about her younger sister, Britney simply began shouting expletives and complained that aliens were eating her brain.
