RAWALPINDI-PAKISTAN: A team of French anti-terrorism police started working with Scotland Yard investigators to help them investigate the killing of Benazir Bhutto.
The team headed by Inspector Jacques Clouseau of the Surete arrived amid raging controversy over the assassination of the former premier.
Within hours of his arrival, Clouseau assisted by his trusty sidekick Kato, had unearthed an "am-por-tant clew by the swimming pewl" which Scotland Yard "had miss-ed".
Reached at his hotel reum at the fancy ISI-Taliban-Hilton in Rawalpindi the famous French sleuth said this evidence would be "reveal-ed" shortly and the entire 'minkey' business "would be expos-ed".
Challenged by the uniformed and heavily be-medalled Army Chief on his findings, Clouseau asked him: "'ow long 'ave you been a bellboy?"
When the highly offended Army Chief corrected him, Clouseau patted him on the back and reassured him: "Keep up zis good work and very soon I will see to it that you become a bellman."
Later in the day, after inadvertently destroying much of the hotel Clouseau was seen getting into a taxi. He told reporters that his investigation had been completed, adding: "I must leave. Zis Hotel is deteriorating rapidly".
