Former Beatle Paul McCartney has decided to 'Get Back' his hair by donning an old mop top wig.
The 78-year-old rocker found the nylon toupee in a 1964 Beatles fancy dress set he kept as a souvenir and decided it was perfect to 'Help!' out with his thinning patch.
McCartney gave the wig its first public outing when he appeared on TV to support Liverpool's City of Culture status in 2008 and said it was 'Fixing a Hole' where his scalp poked through.
He said: ''I'm Down'' now that Heather has said 'She's Leaving Home' and 'I Will' need 'Something' to look younger to get a bird so with a stylish syrup like this 'It Won't Be Long.'
The wig marks a further regression into McCartney's old Beatles ways - he still insists on using his trademark Hofner violin bass even though it sounds like an 'An Elephant Defecating into Cold Porridge.'
Some of his fans say McCartney's appearance isn't 'Getting Better' and one suggested he looked as though 'Roccy Raccoon' had nested on his head.
'That's nonsense,' McCartney tittered. 'It's just 'Me and My Beaver.'
