Veteran rocker Ronnie Wood is amongst a host of stars who are to doff their wigs for charity.
Artists including Elton John, Justin Timberlake and Robbie Williams will show fans what they look like without their trademark toupees to raise money for Bono's personal charity.
Guitarist Ronnie, who is known as 'The Hairy Hat' by his fellow Stones admitted: 'My silky syrup is no secret - how would my hair have remained in exactly the same style for 20 years unless I wore a black beaver?'
He added: 'I hope Bono will donate some of his profits to help The Edge get a full transplant - he's so paranoid about his hair loss he even wears that bandana in the shower - its so old now they will have to sandpaper it off.'
One star who will not be exposing his dome is Ronnie's old sparring partner, Mick Jagger.
Mick also wears a full wig, not only to hide his hair loss but to cover a birthmark on the top of his head which is in the shape of a small semi-erect penis.
