Britney Spears Embarrassed herself at the MTV Video Music Awards. The performance, however, was par for the course for the pop tart now known more for her wild lifestlyle and outrageous behaviour than her talent, singing, or music videos.
An obviously overweight, out of shape Britney came out dancing and immediately forgot that she was supposed to lip synch the words (Milli Vanilli at the VMA's!). Then, she got desperate in her attempt to salvage her performance. In actions that reminded the audience of her recent hijinks, she grabbed Madonna, pulled her to the stage, and put her (Madonna's) hands on her (Spears') breasts. Then, pushing her away, she ripped off her panties and pantomimed getting out of a car. Next, she grabbed a bottle and begin drinking. Then, she thew that bottle at the press area to the left of the stage and screamed at reporters and cameramen.
Britney was pulled from the stage by rappers Fifty Cent and Puff Whatever I Wanna Call Myself This Week. They handed her over to first aid workers back stage, who quietly took her to a local Las Vegas treatment center.
No word yet on how many internet views the latest pictures of Britney's naughty parts will get.
