Britney Spears, that well-known diva of the pop world, is to come out of retirement, and has said that her vagina will be at the forefront of her new act.
The 25-year-old will give her first live performance in three years at the MTV Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday, where she will reveal her new single Stroke Me In The Bush in front of adoring fans.
Miss Spears releases her new album in November after a terrible year for the star, during which she was admitted to rehab, got divorced, shaved her head and suffered brain damage when she humped hip-hop producer Timbaland a little too enthusiastically.
Now as fighting fit as she is ever likely to be, Britney is locked in a custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline over their two children Sean Preston and Jayden James which has left her "financially challenged".
Speaking on her website yesterday, Spears invited her fans to get behind her and give her the kind of support and loyalty she enjoyed in the past:
"I'm back! Come and see my vagina!" she said.
