Quahog mayor Adam West announced that he would be suing "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane and 20th Century Fox for copyright infringement for using his likeness and voice in the top-rated cartoon series.
"The show presents me as some sort of delusional idiot," Mayor West said at a press conference last Sunday during the episode "Heads I Win, Tails You Have Sex With Meg."
Legal analysts have speculated that perhaps this lawsuit was inspired by a similar one filed by comedienne Carol Burnett earlier this year.
"Just because Seth MacFarlane keeps rooms full of Korean animators employed drawing tweeners of Stewie gluing fake hair on his pubes doesn't mean he's GOD, you know," an clearly agitated West yelled into the microphone.
"HE'S NOT GOD! HE'S NOT GOD! IT'S A COOKBOOK! IT'S A COOKBOOK!"
