Stafford - (Ass Mess): Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty was under arrest again today on suspicion of selling intra-cutaneous cocaine patches at the V Festival in Stafford this weekend.
Doherty, who already faces jail for previous drug busts, claimed that a rehab gave him cocaine-infused patches to wear on his arms to wean him gradually off his habit "just like nictoine patches for giving up smoking".
But Drugs Squad officers say the musician was merely charging up others' patches on his arms for fifty quid a pop after ingesting twenty grams of uncut best Colombian during a three day weekend bender at the music festival.
Doherty was arrested at his trailer trash home under West London's A40 Westway motorway about 2am today after being stopped by traffic cops.
His next scheduled court appearance is on September 4 when he is due for official evaluation about his recent rehab success.
