(Hollywood, CA) Peter Fox, co-star on the popular FoxTrot Sunday comic strip, is being held on $1 million bond in the death of younger brother Jason.
"He was pulling a beach prank," said Peter to the judge. "I didn't see the harm of him being so far from the water."
Jason was discovered unconscious and pronounced dead at the scene. He was buried up to his neck with the bucket over his head Peter had placed there.
Extensive bruising from a blow to Jason's face is not attributed to Peter.
"An unusually high tide contributed to the boy's drowning," said the medical examiner. "We are also interested in finding the individual who may have kicked the bucket."
