The prestigious NAGDA in all of its glory

HOLLYWOOD, California (Nielsen Media Research) - Actor/composer/director/producer Clint Eastwood was presented with a lifetime achievement award last evening at a black tie event attended by hundreds of the motion picture industry's most notable faces and names.

The 1st Annual NAGDA (Not Another G*d D*mn Award) Presentation also drew millions, if not thousands, of home television viewers. During the event, the audience was treated to a special two-hour director's cut of Eastwood's 1982 movie 'Firefox'.

On hand to witness the ceremony were veteran British actors Freddie Jones, Kenneth Colley, and Warren Clarke (among many others).

A true minimalist, Eastwood's only words upon receiving the prize were: "Gee, thanks."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
